This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.What You'll Get To Do:The Mission Defense Team (MDT) is seeking a highly motivated and qualified system engineer to serve as a Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Engineer, Level 4. You will be responsible for performing supply chain penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for supply chain elements, processes, and actors and provide results. Decisions about which vulnerabilities need to be addressed and which protection measures or mitigation approaches are applied are based on an overall understanding of risks and program priorities.Your duties will be:Research and identify vulnerabilities on suppliers' systems and networks.Perform vulnerability analysis of applications and operating systems.Evaluate system security configurations.Conduct penetration tests on networks and applications.Prepare and present technical reports and briefings.Coordinate and schedule activities with key stakeholders.Additional Responsibilities include:Assessment and analysis of threats, vulnerabilities, and risk for identified mission-critical functions and critical components.Research and identify vulnerabilities on Suppliers' systems and networks coupled with conducting penetration tests on networks and applications.Perform vulnerability analysis of applications and operating systems and evaluate system security configurations.Participate in a variety of working groups and customer meetings; ensure communication of risk environment with stakeholders.Contributes to the ongoing enhancement of assessment capabilities through the development and implementation of improved methodology, processes, infrastructure, tools, and deliverables.Utilize knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methodologies of risk analysis and mitigation framework, in addition to US intelligence community policies, resources, databases, and requirements to perform research and analysis.Execute completion Statement of Work requirements, Program Milestone Exit Criteria, and program maturity commitments.Self-starters compelled to take action in the workplace without requiring prompting from supervisors.Support MDT with other duties as assigned.Travel: 20%In addition to technical skills, you will be a self-starter with strong time management skills. $114,900 - $170,300The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
