TITLESystems Endpoint AdministratorPOSITION SUMMARY:The Systems Endpoint Administrator is part of the System Administrator / Engineering team with focus on computer desktop environment, server, and related peripheral equipment. Reporting to the Sr. IT Infrastructure Manager, the Systems Endpoint Administrator position will need to have a broad knowledge of server and endpoint configuration and administration, and the ability to quickly learn new and unfamiliar technologies. This position will be an integral part in the day-to-day operations and planning for the future of our IT infrastructure.INITIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Microsoft System Center PlatformsServer and Endpoint health monitoring and mitigation.Develop enterprise Operating Systems imaging / deployment methodology.Manage existing MECM/SCCM and Intune deployment.Create and manage application deployment objects for new and existing software.Implement and manage patching processes for Microsoft and third-party software.Support existing Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services and Azure Active Directory deployment.Provision and maintain remote services such as Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.Manage access controls, permissions, and DFSR health on file servers.Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services and applications.Scripting and automation of common tasks leveraging PowerShell and related tools.Interface with the Systems Administrators/Helpdesk Technicians and provide Level 2 Support.Maintain ongoing communications with support teams regarding application issue resolution and general workstation management support.Assure ITIL compliance including inventories, documentation and change management processes.Document and improve internal procedures.Resolve desktop, printer, network, server, and application issues in a timely manner.Manage manufacturing technologies such as wireless barcode scanners and label printers.Assist with onboarding of new users.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or a relevant subject matter preferred.5-7 years equivalent experience in an IT / Desktop Support role.Experience implementing/managing desktop management platform, imaging, software deployment and related technologies.Expert knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems. MCSE or equivalent certifications preferred.Highly self-motivated and directed.Maintain a flexible work schedule that allows for after hours and weekend work. Participation in after-hours standard maintenance of Windows operating systems.Excellent hardware and software troubleshooting experience.Willingness to learn new software, hardware, and technologies.Effective written and verbal communications.
