Overview

Acuity, Inc is growing and looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in support of our federal Client.

The Business Analyst will perform a combination of requirements analysis and testing functions. This role will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating the needs of project stakeholders and effectively communicating stakeholder requirements to the development team for implementation.

Must be able to work fully on-site (locations within northern Virginia).

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Business Analyst include:

Serve as the liaison between clients and project consultants.Oversee integration delivery.Manage integration development process.Lead Discovery session with client for each domain specific integration.Deliver requirements and design documents to developers.Ensure timelines and quality of integration is met.Engage with 3rd party vendors as required.Closely follow the strategic direction set by leadership when establishing Workday project goals.Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and uncover areas for improvement.Understand system capabilities and how they meet business objectives.Interface with clients to develop an understanding of business needs, user requirements, and discuss issues, questions, and project status.Identify, prioritize, and manage customer requirements.Interface with technical staff to translate user requirements into system specifications as they develop technical solutions to solve business needs.Compose technical documentation to accurately and thoroughly capture system requirements specification documents or other requirements related artifacts.Participate in peer reviews throughout the project life cycle to validate stakeholder requirements are on schedule and budget.Plan and coordinate testing activities (integration, end to end, UAT).Document and communicate project outcomes.Perform responsibilities utilizing agile or waterfall project management method.

Qualifications:2 years of consulting experienceGood verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to work well within a teamDemonstrate strong client and stakeholder collaboration to achieve project objectivesAdvise clients on industry standards and leading practicesDemonstrate design options through the use of prototypingWork with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenariosUnderstand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the businessDeliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standardsEffectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders, and influence solutions across business partnersIdentify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.Continually research, test, and stay up to date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilitiesBuild & maintain thorough documentation for system implementationPrimary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspectiveProvide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues

Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree2-5 years of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform2-5 years of experience with Workday functional configuration tasks (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, Performance Management)Experience using, implementing and developing Workday API framework

Security Clearance:Must Have active TS/SCI (with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph)
