Job Title : Director of Revenue Cycle
Location : Zanesville/Dresden, OH area
Position Type : Full-Time, On-Site
Salary Range : $76,000 - $82,000

Position Summary:
The Director of Revenue Cycle will be responsible for managing all aspects of the revenue cycle process, including billing, coding, and collections. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with revenue cycle management and a strong background in ambulance billing. Certification as a coder is required, and relevant managerial experience is essential for overseeing the entire revenue process.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire revenue cycle process, including charge capture, coding, billing, and collections.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to payers and resolution of any issues that arise.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue cycle performance and improve financial outcomes.
Supervise and support revenue cycle staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Analyze revenue cycle data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of revenue cycle processes with overall operations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding and billing regulations, as well as industry best practices.
Manage relationships with external vendors and payers to ensure efficient revenue cycle operations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Qualifications:
Certified coder (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification) is required.
Extensive experience in revenue cycle management, including all phases of the revenue cycle process.
Preferred experience with ambulance billing and associated coding requirements.
Proven managerial experience with a track record of leading teams and managing complex processes.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and act on financial data and metrics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and tools.
