We’ll enable growth and progress together.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Observability tool by maintaining and troubleshooting dashboards and creating new dashboards to meet operational requirements as neededCreate Grafana dashboards using PromQL (Prometheus query language)Identify any issues or bottlenecks to mitigate appropriately (e.g., feed issues, syntax changes, etc.)Produce high quality documentation, schematics and presentation materials as neededProvide individual leadership in the realm of troubleshooting major incidents and problem managementTroubleshoot complex connectivity issues and outagesAdhere to Citi's Corporate, Information Security and other functional standards and controlsCollaborate with Citi security developers on internally developed tools for telemetry gathering and data visualization effortsQualifications6+ years' hands-on Network Security experience with Firewalls, ACL’s, intrusion detection, proxies, vulnerability scanning, DNS, DDoS mitigation, SIEM platforms, etc.Strong proficiency with Prometheus and GrafanaScripting experience required (Python highly preferred)Prior networking experience with routing/switching, LAN, WAN, etc. inclusive of modern network virtualization concepts to a professional level proficiency is preferredEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields or equivalent experienceOne or more of the following certifications are preferred: Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto firewalls, CISSP or CCNA/CCNPThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
