Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Supply Chain to join our fast-paced manufacturing client. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our supply chain operations, including demand and production planning, cost reduction, operations management, and warehouse management. The VP of Supply Chain will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our supply chain, enabling us to meet our customer needs and achieve our business goals. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
2. Negotiate complex long-term agreements with suppliers to ensure the continuous supply of materials and services at the best possible cost.
3. Lead demand planning processes to accurately forecast product needs and ensure optimal inventory levels.
4. Oversee production planning to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of products.
5. Drive cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain to improve profitability and competitiveness.
6. Manage daily operations of the supply chain, including procurement, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
8. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to integrate supply chain processes with business strategies.
9. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and implement improvements as needed.
10. Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team to achieve departmental and company goals.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior supply chain role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in negotiating complex long-term agreements with suppliers.
4. Strong knowledge of demand planning, production planning, cost reduction, operations management, and warehouse management.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
8. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Proficiency in supply chain management software and other relevant IT systems.
10. Certification in supply chain management, such as APICS or CSCP, is a plus.
