Salary: $170,000 - $240,000 per year

In order to best serve clients’ needs, our team places a heavy emphasis on the early identification of any critical issues in order to develop the most productive and cost effective strategy to resolve each case, whether it involves a motion practice, settlement or trial. By advising clients on the best possible approach, a game plan can be developed and implemented to reach that solution. As each case moves forward, we routinely stop to re-evaluate and fine-tune our strategy, with the goal to obtain the best possible outcome.

Job Details

The ideal candidate graduated from a top 50 ABA accredited law school, is a self-starter, has very strong writing skills, is able to function with minimal supervision, and has two to five years of experience in the relevant practice areas. Experience with employment litigation and counseling is a strong plus. Diversity candidates are a very strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation cases
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Conduct discovery and take depositions
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to gather necessary information for cases
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top 50 ABA accredited law school
  • Admission to the California State Bar
  • Proven experience in litigation, preferably in a law firm setting
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation
  • Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
