The Financial Services and Real Estate Division of the firm represents a wide range of servicers, banks and other creditors in all areas of law in end to end default legal services and creditor’s rights.

Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing cases efficiently. Must have experience with Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Evictions, Collections and Litigation fields.

Must also possess knowledge with filing court cases, E-filing, and have the ability to work a file from inception thru litigation process. Including but not limited to, preparing pleadings, summons & complaints, objections, motions. Also preparing Judgements and Writs.

Duties:

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation and management
  • Conduct legal research using various tools such as Westlaw
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documents
  • Transcribe dictations and prepare summaries
  • Manage legal case calendars and deadlines
  • Communicate professionally with clients and court personnel
  • Utilize iManage or similar software for document management

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven experience working as a Paralegal in a law firm or legal department
  • Proficiency in Legal case management and Legal administrative tasks
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Legal research methods and resources
  • Ability to draft legal documents accurately
  • Knowledge of legal software such as iManage is a plus
  • Excellent phone etiquette for client communication
