Job Details:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Residential 1 & 2 Licensed Inspector to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the construction industry, who has a keen eye for detail, and who is committed to ensuring the safety and integrity of residential buildings. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of all aspects of residential construction, a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry standards and regulations, and a proven track record of thorough, accurate inspections.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Residential 1 & 2 Licensed Inspector, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Conducting thorough and detailed inspections of residential buildings, including both new construction and existing structures.
- Ensuring that all construction work complies with local and state building codes and regulations.
- Identifying any structural, safety, or code-related issues and documenting these findings in detailed reports.
- Collaborating with construction teams, architects, and engineers to address and resolve any identified issues.
- Providing clear and concise feedback and recommendations to construction teams and homeowners.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry standards, building codes, and inspection techniques.
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance inspection skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Permanent Residential 1 & 2 Licensed Inspector, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a residential building inspector.
- A valid Residential 1 & 2 License in the state of Florida.
- Extensive knowledge of local and state building codes and regulations.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough and accurate inspections.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using various inspection tools and software.
