Are you a financial wizard who thrives in a dynamic work environment? Are you passionate about numbers and have an analytical mindset? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a part of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision-making efforts. You will be responsible for providing financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support ‘optimal’ business decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive financial planning and forecasting processes for the business unit, including revenue, expense, and headcount planning.
  • Prepare, review, and distribute monthly financial reports to senior management, providing insightful analysis.
  • Track performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
  • Support Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis.
  • Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team.
  • Drive process improvements and policy development initiatives that impact the function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. MBA or other relevant Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, data analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and part of a team.
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
  • Experience in working with senior decision makers.
  • Strong problem solving skills, detail oriented with focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and financial forecasting.
  • Experience with financial modeling and analysis, including understanding of financial statements.
  • Proven ability to perform in-depth analysis and present findings to senior management.
