Salary: $150,000 - $250,000 per year

Job Details

Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of the firm's professional activities, including client intake, trial preparation, etc.
  • Handle litigation matters from inception through trial with minimal supervision
  • Draft complex pleadings and motions, and argue discovery and dispositive motions.
  • Formulate and develop case strategy, advise clients on risk mitigation and pre-suit resolution options
  • Conduct research, interview clients and witnesses, and handle other details for comprehensive case management
  • Manage the discovery process and supervise junior attorneys and staff members with document review projects

Qualifications:

  • At least 4-6+ years of litigation experience in state and federal courts with significant courtroom experience
  • First chair experience preferred; second chair can be considered
  • Mediation and arbitration experience is preferred
  • Portable book of business preferred
  • Knowledge of the laws and rules, as well as state and federal court procedures
