We are looking for a self motivated litigation attorney to join our Labor and Employment team in Tampa to handle cases independently and as part of our multidisciplinary team when necessary.

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Labor and Employment Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of labor and employment matters, including providing advice and counsel to clients, representing clients in disputes, and handling labor negotiations. This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about labor law and is seeking a challenging, rewarding role in the legal industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  2. Represent clients in labor and employment disputes, including conducting investigations, drafting legal documents, and presenting cases in court.
  3. Negotiate and draft employment contracts and collective bargaining agreements.
  4. Conduct legal research and analysis to stay abreast of current trends and developments in labor and employment law.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop strategies and solutions for complex legal issues.
  6. Provide training and education to clients on labor and employment law issues.
  7. Manage and oversee the work of junior attorneys and support staff.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Admitted to practice law and in good standing in the state of Florida.
  3. A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience with a focus on labor and employment law.
  4. Proven experience as a 1st chair attorney, including significant trial experience.
  5. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws.
  6. Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and advise clients accordingly.
  8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
