• Lead and manage the company's tax department, overseeing all direct and indirect tax functions.
• Develop and implement effective tax strategies that align with the company's business objectives, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on tax matters to senior management, including the implications of new tax laws and potential tax risks.
• Manage the preparation and review of all tax returns, reports, and other required documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate and manage tax audits, responding to inquiries from tax authorities in a timely and effective manner.
• Oversee the tax accounting process, ensuring the accurate calculation and reporting of tax provisions by relevant accounting standards.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services, identifying opportunities for tax savings and advising on the tax implications of proposed business decisions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and ensure that the company's tax policies and procedures comply.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external tax advisors and auditors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
