We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team. This role requires a professional with a strong background in bridge design specifications and a proven track record in managing construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating efforts across multiple teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile construction projects and help shape the built environment of the future.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  2. Ensure all construction activities comply with design specifications, particularly in relation to bridge design.
  3. Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
  4. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
  5. Conduct regular site inspections to verify that work is progressing as planned and in compliance with safety standards.
  6. Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve on-site issues and conflicts.
  7. Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, budget updates, and forecasts.
  8. Ensure all project documentation, including contracts, permits, and safety records, are well maintained.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  10. Implement and enforce site safety protocols, ensuring all activities comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on bridge design and construction.
  3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  4. Excellent understanding of bridge design specifications and their application in a construction setting.
  5. Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
  6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  8. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  9. Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  10. Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel to various job sites as required.
  11. QC, Safety Certification Required
