Salary: $150,000 - $210,000 per year

Our client is actively recruiting for an experienced trial attorney to join their offices in Walnut Creek. This opportunity is with a growing boutique firm that specializes in community association law including HOA governance and transactions, construction defect, developer transition, and high-rise representation.

We are seeking a 5+ year attorney with experience representing plaintiffs in construction defect claims, general real estate litigation, breach of contract, member enforcement actions, or other related matters in California state and federal court. Trial and arbitration experience is preferred, but not required. Interested attorneys should have strong oral and written advocacy skills and a demonstrated history of success in depositions and law and motion practice. Other job responsibilities include:

• Analyze client needs and opportunities, identify solutions, and develop case strategies.
• Conduct thorough investigations into the facts of a case, including document, records, and evidence review.
• Engage in all stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Draft and argue motions. Manage discovery, including document production, depositions, and interrogatories.
• Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to reach favorable settlements for clients.
