Salary: $37 - $41 per hour

Job Details

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Prior experience overseeing teams in a production environment
  • Strong mechanical knowledge, capable of setting up production tasks and overseeing them through completion
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent numerical skills with a strong focus on detail
  • Competency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office, barcoding, and ERP software
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is necessary
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and achieving results through others
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
  • Able to balance objectives related to safety, quality, output, and employee relations
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in using computers
  • Solid mathematical abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign and manage work tasks in line with the production schedule
  • Implement policies and procedures while suggesting improvements for production processes, equipment, and working conditions
  • Organize and ensure a smooth flow of production tasks until their completion
  • Collaborate with other supervisors to understand new projects, allocate appropriate staff, and provide necessary support for efficient operations
  • Oversee the quality and quantity of products manufactured
  • Offer ongoing guidance and support to employees to ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor and enforce safety standards across all activities
  • Address performance issues and recommend corrective actions when necessary
  • Facilitate communication between shifts and work closely with other supervisors during handovers
  • Coordinate training and development of staff in various production roles
  • Uphold all company policies, particularly those related to safety and procedures
  • Perform additional tasks as needed or assigned
