Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Details

Overview:

Manage financial operations for real estate assets, focusing on budgeting, financial reporting, and portfolio management to optimize performance.

Up to 25% travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for the property portfolio.
  • Manage accounting for construction projects and ensure accurate cost tracking.
  • Handle accounts payable, receivable, tenant billing, and rent collection.
  • Conduct variance analysis and maintain the general ledger.
  • Coordinate with auditors and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide financial insights for property management and investment decisions.
  • Manage cash flow and collaborate with 3rd party property managers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years in real estate accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to Haves:

  • CPA or CMA certification.
  • Experience with real estate accounting software (MRI, NEXUS).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
