Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial to the growth and success of our company, as the successful candidate will be responsible for generating new sales, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and prospecting for new clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who has a strong technical background, specifically in thermoforming processes and medical packaging. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to travel up to 50% of the time, meeting with clients and providing exceptional service and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new sales with existing customers, utilizing your technical knowledge and sales skills to provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Meet with active clients to ensure they are receiving the service and quality they deserve.
  • Prospect for new clients, identifying opportunities for business growth.
  • Follow up on leads, turning potential opportunities into successful sales.
  • Guide customer projects, providing technical advice and support to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Manage accounts, maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring their needs are met.

Qualifications:

  • A 4-year Engineering or Technical Degree is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the thermoforming process is essential.
  • Experience in medical packaging is highly desirable.
  • 4+ years of Outside Sales experience is required.
  • Proven track record in Technical Sales.
  • Excellent account management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Highly motivated, with a drive to achieve sales targets and business growth.
