The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the legal landscape, who can effectively manage complex patent issues and disputes.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of Intellectual Property matters, including patents, trademarks, and business litigation.
  2. Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a variety of complex agreements related to Intellectual Property rights.
  3. Develop and manage patent portfolios to protect the company's intellectual property.
  4. Represent the company in patent litigations and negotiations.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential legal risks.
  6. Stay abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends related to Intellectual Property and patents, and advise the company accordingly.
  7. Develop and deliver training to company employees on Intellectual Property matters.
  8. Work closely with the legal team to develop and implement Intellectual Property strategies and policies.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Active membership in good standing with a state bar.
  3. Minimum of 15 years of experience
  4. Demonstrated experience in trademark and business litigation.
  5. In-depth knowledge of Intellectual Property laws and regulations.
  6. Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
  10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  11. Registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office preferred.
