Unleash your potential by joining our dynamic team as a Payroll Administrator! This is a part-time position that promises a vibrant and rewarding work environment where you'll play an integral role in managing the payroll process of our diverse and growing company. You will be working closely with our dedicated finance team and will be a key contributor in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of payroll operations.

Responsibilities:

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be the backbone of our finance department with responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

  1. Administering and processing payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Managing and maintaining all payroll records and employee data.
  3. Reconciling payroll discrepancies and resolving any payroll issues that arise.
  4. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  5. Coordinating with HR department to ensure correct employee data.
  6. Preparing reports for management, finance department, and others as requested.
  7. Assisting with audits and inquiries related to payroll information.
  8. Providing excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll issues or information.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role is a detailed-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the following qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration
  2. Proficient in ADP
  3. Strong knowledge of payroll processes, procedures, and best practices.
  4. Excellent knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and laws related to payroll.
  5. Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  6. Exceptional numerical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies.
  8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  9. High level of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
