As a
Proposal Manager
at Webcor, you will play an integral role in driving our business development efforts, leading proposals and pursuits from identification through to award. This role requires a seasoned professional with the ability to manage proposal teams, collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, and deliver high-quality, compelling content. You’ll work alongside business development leads, senior operations personnel, and the marketing team to manage tailored proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials.Your responsibilities will include assessing RFQs and RFPs, managing the full lifecycle of proposals, and ensuring the final product aligns with Webcor’s brand and storytelling standards. This role demands strong leadership skills, excellent project management, and an ability to coordinate efforts across multiple teams. As a senior member of the marketing team, you will have a visible impact on the success of Webcor’s pursuits, and your expertise will help guide the direction of proposal strategy and development.
Senior Proposal Managers
will bring additional experience, managing more complex proposals and leading larger teams.What You’ll Do:·
Lead Proposal Management:
Oversee the full proposal development process, from RFQ/RFP assessment to final submission, ensuring proposals meet client requirements and deadlines.·
Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work closely with business development leads, proposal sponsors, and internal teams (estimating, operations, marketing, etc.) to manage competing deadlines and deliver winning proposals.·
Develop Capture Strategies:
Partner with business development teams to implement capture strategies that enhance the competitiveness and effectiveness of proposals.·
Team Leadership:
Lead proposal teams consisting of junior marketing coordinators, technical staff, and subject matter experts, providing guidance and direction throughout the proposal process.·
Content Creation & Design:
Develop and design visually compelling, well-organized proposal templates, interview presentations, and graphics that align with Webcor’s brand standards.·
Content Writing:
Write and edit technical and marketing content tailored to client specifications, transforming complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.·
CRM & Database Management:
Manage CRM data entry and reporting, maintain the marketing information database, and ensure accurate and up-to-date project photography and collateral.·
Mentorship & Development:
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering growth and development within the marketing and proposal teams.·
Multitasking & Prioritization:
Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting tight deadlines.What You Need to Succeed:·
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in English, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Communication, Graphic Design, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.·
Minimum 3 years of experience
in marketing and construction, with an emphasis on proposal management.
Senior Proposal Manager:
Minimum 6 years of experience.·
Proven experience in developing
compliant, compelling, and persuasive proposals , with an emphasis on AEC industry experience.·
Strong familiarity with construction management, engineering, and architecture concepts, and the ability to translate technical information into clear, persuasive language.·
Proficiency in
Adobe Suite
(InDesign, Illustrator) and
Microsoft Office Suite .·
Leadership experience
managing proposal teams and collaborating with technical and creative staff.·
Exceptional
organizational skills
and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities.·
Self-motivated
