Job Details:

We are actively helping our client identify their next Superintendent for their luxury single family homes construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of experts and lead the construction process of high-end, luxury residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a focus on safety compliance, subcontractor management, time management, blueprint reading, site management, materials management, knowledge of building codes, and project management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of luxury residential construction projects from conception to completion
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Review and understand project blueprints and specifications to ensure that all construction activities align with design and plan
• Manage and supervise subcontractors and other onsite workers, ensuring they adhere to safety standards and quality workmanship
• Coordinate and manage the procurement of materials, ensuring materials are delivered on time and within budget
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists to deliver high-quality luxury residential properties
• Resolve any problems that may arise during construction and implement risk management processes to mitigate construction delays or cost overruns
• Provide regular updates and progress reports to project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and senior management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on luxury residential properties
• Strong experience in concrete/masonry, pilings, elevated slabs
• Proven experience in managing subcontractors and ensuring safety compliance on construction sites
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and construction plans
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget
• Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of construction professionals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders, from clients to architects to construction workers
• Proficient in using construction management software and other relevant computer applications
