Job Details

The Associate Attorney will be involved in all aspects of commercial real estate. As one of the key team members, the Associate Attorney will need to carry out the following important duties:

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and revising complex loan documents.
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and revising letters of intent, offers, leases, purchase and sale agreements and other commercial real estate agreements.
  • Drafting and negotiating corporate, LLC and partnership agreements and related documents.
  • Reviewing and preparing title commitments, policies and dealing with all title and survey matters, including review of title related instruments and surveys.
  • Comprehensive understanding of commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing.
  • Collaborate with the team members, receive guidance and support from all partners with respect to all pending matters and counseling; and
  • Cultivate existing client relationships and generate new client relationships.

Requirements:

  • 4+ Years Commercial Real Estate Experience
  • Top Tier Firm Experience Preferred
  • Licensed NY Attorney
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Good analytical power along with excellent interpretation skills about the data researched.
  • Should be able to demonstrate a professional demeanor with strong work ethic.
  • Solid organization skills with the ability to meet deadlines while working independently are critical.
