Join Our Team as a Controller!

We're looking for a Controller to join our team and oversee our company's financial operations and account personnel.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

~ Maintain and safeguard all accounting records, gaming documents, Title 31 logs and reports, and financial reports.

~ Audit Assistance: Assist independent and internal auditors as required.

~Asset Management: Ensure proper accountability for all fixed assets.

~ Team Leadership: Manage accounting department employees, including hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

~Bank Reconciliations: Ensure reconciliation of all bank accounts and funds.

~Accuracy in Reporting: Review accounting entries to ensure all general ledger account balances are current and accurate at the end of the month.

~Month-End Tasks: Review and update month-end accrual entries and reconciliation schedules for accuracy.

~Cash Management: Review receipts and disbursements to determine cash position, and prepare necessary journal entries, and cash transfers.

~Regulatory Compliance: Ensure proper and accurate completion, timely submission, and proper file maintenance of reports sent to the IRS for Title 31, Income Tax withholding, Tip reporting, Payroll, and Vendor information forms.

Minimum Requirements:

~Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis).

Certification: CPA preferred.

~ Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Controller or similar position.
