Job Details

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, and stack products and materials. The role involves ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of materials within the warehouse and production areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts to move materials and products within the facility.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks or pallets.
  • Transport products to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movements.
  • Follow warehouse and other related SOPs and help for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift certification (required).
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations for forklift operation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Knowledge of warehouse and inventory management practices.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • No health issues for driving forklift inside and outside of the warehouse.
