Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Details

As the Environmental, Health, and Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials and products.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Implement and maintain delivery, in-process, and shipment recording procedures.
  • Managing internal barcoding/storage system for FIFO control.
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Manage warehouse equipment-device requirements and organize periodic maintenance activities.
  • Conduct monthly inventory controls in coordination with audit staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS roles.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in EHS management software and tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) experience is needed for EHS Program Development, EHS Inspections and Audits, Accident and Incident Investigation, EHS Training, and Documentation and Record Keeping.
