Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Details

The Warehouse Chief manages warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory control and storage. This role involves coordinating with production and procurement teams to maintain a smooth flow of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials and products.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Implement and maintain delivery, in-process, and shipment recording procedures.
  • Managing internal barcoding/storage system for FIFO control.
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Manage warehouse equipment-device requirements and organize periodic maintenance activities.
  • Conduct monthly inventory controls in coordination with audit staff.

Qualifications:

  • At least an Associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management.
  • 3 years of SAP experience.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) experience is needed for Inventory Control, Warehouse Safety, Shipping and Receiving, and Staff Management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with inventory management software and tools.
  • Leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Forklift driver license will be a plus.
