Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Associate to join our clients team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in tax to join a growing organization and make an immediate impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax strategy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting with tax planning and research. This role is ideal for someone who is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) candidate and is looking for an exciting, challenging role in the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns in accordance with federal and state tax laws.
  2. Conduct tax research to stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations and provide accurate advice to clients.
  3. Develop tax strategies to assist clients in being tax-compliant and to help them save money.
  4. Work closely with clients to gather information, resolve tax-related issues, and provide advice on tax matters.
  5. Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for clients to minimize their tax liabilities and ensure they are in compliance with tax laws.
  6. Assist with internal tax operations, including maintaining tax records, preparing documentation, and coordinating audits.
  7. Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure client satisfaction and to meet the company's financial goals.
Job Details

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.
  2. CPA candidate with 3+ years of experience in a tax role.
  3. Extensive knowledge of tax laws, tax compliance, and tax planning.
  4. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Excellent research skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret tax laws and regulations.
  7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain tax laws and strategies to clients.
  8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
  9. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
