Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to join our thriving legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing personal injury cases from inception through resolution. This role will involve working closely with attorneys and clients, providing top-notch case management, ensuring all cases are progressing appropriately, and that all deadlines are met. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage a caseload of personal injury cases from start to finish.
2. Conduct comprehensive case reviews to determine the legitimacy of a claim and identify the liable parties.
3. Coordinate with clients to gather all necessary information and documentation related to their case.
4. Conduct legal research to support case preparation, including researching laws, regulations, and legal articles.
5. Work closely with attorneys to prepare for pleadings, motions, discovery, hearings, trials, and mediations.
6. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and information regarding their case status.
7. Ensure all case-related deadlines are met and all documents are properly filed.
8. Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel as necessary.
9. Create and maintain case management reports to track the progress of all cases and identify any potential issues.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager or in a similar role within the legal industry.
2. A deep understanding of personal injury law and the ability to apply this knowledge to individual cases.
3. Strong legal research skills with the ability to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations in legal documents.
4. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a large caseload and meet strict deadlines.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
9. A bachelor’s degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field is preferred.
10. Paralegal certification or equivalent is a plus.
