This role involves working closely with clients and colleagues to handle complex matrimonial cases and ensure favorable outcomes.Duties and Responsibilities:Represent clients in matrimonial and family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support, and asset division.Provide expert legal advice and develop strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court proceedings and mediation.Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in matrimonial law and relevant legislation.Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to ensure comprehensive legal support.Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Manage a caseload effectively, meeting deadlines and ensuring high-quality service.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff as needed.Requirements:Several years of experience in matrimonial law within the State of New Jersey.Proven track record of successful case management and client representation.Strong understanding of New Jersey family law and legal procedures.Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to handle complex and sensitive legal issues with professionalism.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and case management software.Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
