On behalf of a client in the professional services industry, we are seeking an experienced HR generalist to provide comprehensive human resources support to the firm. The ideal candidate has experience in managing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, benefits and payroll administration, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Collaborate in the development and execution of HR programs and initiatives that align with the firm's goals and objectivesAssist with payroll processing and ensure the accurate and timely disbursement of salaries and benefitsAssist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits and assist employees with benefits related questionsCoordinate the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, selection, and new hire orientationsAssist with the management of employee inquiries and concerns, addressing employee issues and conflictsAssist in the performance evaluation and coaching process, develop materials, and provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related mattersEnsure compliance with all applicable regulations and legal requirements and assist in the ongoing development of HR policies and proceduresMaintain HR documentation and databases, generate reports, and providing guidance on HR metrics to leadership as neededQualificationsRequirements for this position include the following:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related fieldThree to five years professional experience in human resources in a professional or corporate environmentKnowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulationsExcellent communication skills, both written and oralAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionStrong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with team members at all levels of the organizationStrong organizational and time-management skillsPreferred qualifications:

Relevant HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.Experience with talent management and employee development programsFamiliarity with financial services industry regulations and employment standardsEmergent Method and associated entities are equal opportunity employers.
