GENERAL FUNCTIONS

The Salesforce CRM Administrator is a member of the Information Technology team that develops and supports the Customer Relationship Management Salesforce.com solution. This position plays a supporting role in ensuring that our organization capitalizes on the benefits offered by the Salesforce CRM system.

Role responsibilities will include administering CRM applications and responsibility for maintaining the CRM systems including updates, enhancements, building reports, managing dashboards, workflows, and security. This individual will monitor end-user usage of systems and perform administrative and user support tasks. They will collaborate on stakeholder requirement specifications to translate their needs into effective and scalable solutions.

The incumbent will be required to gain exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. This includes configuration and maintenance of the CRM/Salesforce, data accuracy and integrity, reporting and data analysis, as well as problem solving creative solutions to any and all performance gaps identified on the Salesforce platform.

This position offers at mininumn a base salary of $61,500.00 to $82,000.00 (final salay is determinant upon required experience, education, and qualifications for this role).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES• B.A. or B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field or equivalent experience.• 0-2 years of Salesforce Administration experience• Medium understanding of Customer Relationship Management and/or social collaboration concepts and processes• Exposure to Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.• Experience in business analysis and requirements gathering.• Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies.• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills• Ability to learn rapidly and leverage new business and technological concepts.• Understanding of Salesforce data model and practical knowledge on importing, exporting and ensuring data accuracy• Experience in data migration and data integration processes.• Ability to work independently, as well as within a team.• Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.• Must possess experience prioritizing and building consensus with multiple stakeholders.• Working knowledge of SOQL is preferred.• Current Salesforce certification(s) (e.g., Administrator, Advanced Administrator preferred or the ability to attain certifications)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS• Consult and liaise with stakeholders to translate business requirements into proposed solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products• Support meeting facilitation plans and materials including, but not limited to, process models, prototypes leveraging a sandbox environment, questionnaires, etc.• Administer solution roadmaps, project approach and project plans for the configuration and implementation of the solution across business teams• Perform daily support and maintenance of Salesforce and Salesforce based products, and conduct long- term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements• Actively participate with project managers, business units and other developers to support cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment• Support developers to define and create specifications for any custom code, data migrations, or integrations.• Assist the IT Team in the creation of training documentation, knowledge transfer documentation, and develop and document standard operating procedures• Work closely and collaboratively with IT and business stakeholders to ensure project objectives and stakeholder satisfaction goals are achieved• Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and company objectives, and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully• Support system maintenance and configuration, including user set up, roles, profiles, groups, queues, security and permissions, workflows, validation rules, custom objects and fields• Interact indirectly or sometimes directly with business units, managers and end users as necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications and interactions with multiple internal Salesforce instances• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain updated ticketing for events, incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc.• Support application changes, development, and installation of upgrades and new releases.• Other duties as assigned
