Road America is seeking an individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service. Our busy, client-focused office needs a reliable, well-organized Ticketing Office Manager to handle day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management. The Ticketing Office Manager will be responsible for all gate functions, key stakeholder management, and event planning. We looking for an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats.

Road America hosts nearly 500 events annually that vary in size and type, from race events, and driving and riding schools to hospitality and corporate entertainment functions. Event experience and an interest in motorsports is a plus.

Reports to:

Director of Finance

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing strong customer service to all customers, clients, VIPs, etc. (external and internal) while ensuring accurate business information is communicated.

Train, supervise, and assist with the in-house ticketing process.

Provide input and ideas to improve our ticketing system.

Manage the staffing and running of the gate functions across Road America's property.

Responsible for tracking ticket sales and providing data and analytics.

Distributes event programs during the event (gates, concession stands, retail locations, VIP suites, etc.).

Assist in making sure all the information is accurate on Road America's website.

Primary contact for the Board of Directors regarding availability for meetings; assembly and distribution of Board of Director meeting materials and minutes, provide setup and details of the meeting facilities.

Plan and organize various events for staff, shareholders, and season pass holders.

Assist the President and General Manager as needed.

Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Candidate must have excellent phone communication skills, organizational, and computer skills.

They must also be a fast learner, think outside the box, be adaptable, resourceful, and troubleshoot problems as they arise.

This detail-oriented person must be able to handle various aspects of each event from concept to completion.

The candidate must be able to work independently and still drive results.

Ideally, the candidate has great experience in customer service and has an enthusiasm for sports and entertainment.

Ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.

Compensation:

Competitive compensation based on experience.

Hours can be long and vary by week and event type. The candidate must also be willing to work weekends on occasion to support events.
