The UCSF Thoracic Surgery and Oncology Clinic offers state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment for lung cancer and other conditions related to the lungs, chest and esophagus. Our team of surgeons, medical oncologists and radiation oncologists works together closely to ensure that each patient receives comprehensive care.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. One or more years of Nurse Practitioner experience in an outpatient surgical practice.Preferred Qualifications

One or more years thoracic surgery or surgical oncology experience.License/Certification

California driver's license (CDL) if required for position.Current national certification from an accepted certifying agency and provide by first day of work.Current and active RN and NP and Furnishing license in California.Complete a BRN recognized graduate master's degree program as a nurse practitioner.Obtain an active and/or transferable DEA license to California and provide evidence by 90th day of clinical practice.Submit enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through credentialing by first clinical day.Current AHA BLS.State regulation requires that you have a supervising physician to practice.Incumbents with less than 6 months of NP experience will be hired as a Nurse Practitioner 1.About UCSF
