Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to lead large-scale technology projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in website design/redesign, customer management systems, or security tools implementation. This role requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to influence stakeholders, and proficiency in conflict management. A PMP or Agile certification is highly preferred, with a focus on delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget.
Responsibilities :• Governance & Reporting:
Ensure adherence to governance processes, engage with stakeholders, prepare status reports, and conduct executive briefings.• Project Planning:
Conduct detailed project planning activities to define tasks, timelines, and resources needed to successfully deliver each project.• Vendor Management:
Oversee vendor deliverables, monitor milestone payments, ensure contract adherence, and handle escalations.• Budget Management:
Track and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals.• Timeline & Metrics:
Develop and monitor project timelines, tasks, and performance metrics to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills:•Ability to influence stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively•Exceptional attention to detail•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Certifications:
PMP, ACP, or similar project management certifications are preferred.•7+ years of experience leading technology projects involving multiple computer subsystems.•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).•Experience managing large-scale website design/redesign projects, including upgrades or conversions.•Must be able to pass a criminal background check.•Ability to work on-site as required by the project.
Nice to Have:•Master's degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Technology, or related fields.•Experience in IT program or project management within public sector organizations.•Strong vendor management experience and proficiency with project/portfolio management tools.•Excellent customer service and business relationship communication skills.
