- Lead the benefits, compensation and HRIS roles with the HR team.
- Lead the design, implementation, and administration of a competitive benefits package.
- Oversee the compensation strategy.
- Manage relationships with benefit providers, brokers, and consultants.
- Direct the HRIS function, ensuring the system meets organizational needs.

- Monitor employee performance, conduct performance evaluations, and provide on-going support and encouragement.
- Cross train employees to ensure back-up of programs and processes, as well as development in skill sets.
- Lead the design, implementation, and administration of a competitive benefits package.
- Responsible for the oversight of all employee benefit plans and wellness programs, including but not limited to medical, dental, life, disability, supplemental plans, FSA, HSA, COBRA, and retirement.
- Oversee annual open enrollment process.
- Involved with annual renewal process, including but not limited to providing comprehensive financial analysis, benchmarking, and proposed recommendations for plan changes.
- Provide technical expertise to internal stakeholders in the areas of benefit policy and programs.
- Work closely with benefit vendors, brokers, and consultants.
- Define strategies for each benefit program, evaluate usage and effectiveness and align the program structure to overall business objectives, including maintaining a competitive position within the industries with which we compete for talent.
- Develop and implement proactive communication strategies to maximize the value of benefits to the employees and the organization.
- Manage periodic audits of benefit plans and processes in order to ensure accurate and effective administration and identify opportunities for efficiencies. This includes consistent review of regulatory compliance, including but not limited to ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA and similar federal, state and local regulations.
- Research and keep up to date on industry trends; utilize broker admin systems to create reports and analyze utilization rates.
- Monitor administrative costs and pricing of benefit programs and recommend cost containment strategies.
- Oversee vendor management, including contracting, value review, and annual renewals.
- Prepare, collect, and organize data for annual plan audits and reporting.
- Maintain an external focus on best practices, regulatory requirements, and the competitive environment.
- Oversee the compensation strategy.
- Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and strategic objectives.
- Provide advice to leadership regarding pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
- Design creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry-standard best practices and district, state, and federal rules and regulations.
- Oversee the participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure compensation objectives are achieved
- Direct the HRIS function, ensuring the system meets organizational needs.
- Oversee the management of the HRIS technology.
- Ensure system is efficient, effective, and secure.
- Ensure that all HR data is accurate, reliable, and up to date, and responsible for meeting data privacy and regulation requirements.
- Work closely with leaders and other key players to develop HRIS strategies to meet the company's needs.
- Provide reports and analytics to help the management team make informed decisions about business strategy.

Education and Experience Required:
- A bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
- 5 years leadership experience.
- 5 years of benefits experience.
- 5 years of compensation experience.
- 5 years working in an HRIS.
- Able to gather and interpret data, as well as improve HRIS processes.
- Able to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Able to adapt to varying workloads, changing priorities, and a variety of staff.
- Must demonstrate initiative and motivation to follow through with tasks.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Must complete and pass a state required background study.
- Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
- Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
