CFC has a need for a Senior Vice President ("SVP") Strategic Services to join the CFC team. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work at our headquarters office in Sterling, VA, as well as optional remote workdays. The Senior SVP, Strategic Services is a visible leadership position for CFC. This position serves as the senior leader in developing and providing various value-added products and services to the membership, which enhances CFC brand loyalty and increases member engagement. These products and services include strategic planning facilitation; ERM risk assessments; cost of services and rate surveys; financial models (KRTA, KPI, Compass, & Budget Pro), and cooperative industry expertise. This position is also responsible for certain strategic partnerships that promotes and further enhances existing value-added products and services. The SVP, Strategic Services reports to the Chief Executive Officer and works with other executives to establish business plans, implementation strategies, goals, practices and procedures for CFC and NCSC.

As a Senior Vice President, Strategic Services, you will:
• In collaboration with the other executives, is responsible for driving the company to achieve its business goals and objectives.
• Spearhead products and services that are consistent with the company's overall strategy that enhance member relations.
• Drive strategy for the delivery and execution of value-added products and services.
• Collaborate on the identification of new products and/or services designed to increase the number of and strengthen the relationship with members.
• Work closely with the other Senior Vice Presidents, design and develop market driven products to strengthen the members' value of ownership and engagement in CFC and its affiliates.
• Manage the team to work collaboratively across all operating groups to deliver products and services that meet the members' expectations and identify potential new products and services.
• Develop and mentor staff to ensure succession planning.

Skills and Abilities:
• Thorough knowledge of cooperative principles and the business model.
• Experience managing a cooperative or extensive knowledge of electric cooperative operations.
• Firm understanding of CFC's membership structure.
• Experience in product development and management.
• In depth knowledge of financial products and services and/or electric industry is highly preferred.
• Ability to develop strategic direction and drive the execution of business objectives.
• Ability to establish a strong communication link and credibility with the membership through the highest level of professionalism, integrity, mutual respect and value-added mentality.

To be successful, you will need:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Fifteen years of leadership experience, preferably in finance or cooperative utility industry.
• Experience with developing financial products and services and/or electric cooperative operations experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated success and increasing level of responsibility in managing the operations of a large financial services company, electric cooperative or similar organization.
