The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing payroll processes for approximately 800-1,000 employees across various locations. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, addressing employee inquiries, and resolving payroll-related issues.Key Responsibilities:Execute bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations.

Review and correct timecards, address missed punches, and ensure accurate recording of work hours.

Respond to employee questions and emails regarding payroll, providing clear and helpful information.

Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly, including processing terminations and pay adjustments.

Generate and submit payroll reports to management for review and approval.

Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity in the payroll system.

Stay updated on state and federal payroll regulations to ensure compliance.

Work closely with the Human Resources team to ensure accurate employee records and seamless payroll operations.

Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience.

Proficiency in UKG, or ADP preferred

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

Strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of payroll protocols and regulations.

Excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to work independently

Team player with strong customer service skills, reliable, and dependable.

Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act swiftly in emergency situations.

Ability to work well within a team to expedite audits and tax preparation.
