$41.2200 - $63.3700/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.The Mammography Technologist performs routine screening mammography examinations to obtain high quality radiographs.Obtains images of excellent diagnostic quality to optimally demonstrate anatomy and/or pathology while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients.The technologist educates the patient about the exam and takes measures to provide and care for the patient’s safety and properly utilizes procedure related patient care/support devices appropriate for the age of the patient.Alerts Supervisor and/or appropriate staff of potential problems or equipment malfunctions.Maintains a relaxed environment to calm anxious patients.Performs other duties as assigned.Education and ExperienceAssociates Degree or higher.Graduate of an ARRT approved Radiology program required.Minimum of 6 months to 1 year preferred.Knowledge of EMR Systems and EPIC preferred.License RequiredCalifornia Radiologic Technologist Diagnostic Radiologic Technology - CRTXRCalifornia Radiologic Technologist Mammographic Radiologic Technology - CRTMA (must have by date of hire).Certifications RequiredARRT Radiography - RTRAHA BLS certificationARRT Mammography - RTMAll areas except OCWIf no ARRT in mammography, it must be obtained within 6 months of hire.Hoag is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
