About the Job:

LaunchDarkly is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Competitive Intelligence to help drive our mission to empower all teams to deliver, control, and measure their software through feature management. In this role, you will become a cross-functional leader and subject matter expert on LaunchDarkly’s competitive landscape and combine a technical assessment of competitor products with market insights to arm our Sales team with the information they need to successfully navigate competitive conversations. You will also partner closely with product management to inform future strategy, and work closely with other teams in Marketing.We’re looking for a self-starter with technical curiosity, experience partnering closely with Sales teams, and the ability to grasp and link technical products and features to customer pain points and business benefits. Prior experience with developer tools is a big plus.Responsibilities:

Define and scale LaunchDarkly’s competitive intelligence program.Develop an in-depth technical understanding of competitor products and go-to-market motions.Develop product positioning and competitively unique messaging based on user research, market insights, and product knowledge.Deliver content and programs to help our sales teams with customer conversations.Deliver competitive insights to the product team to help guide future strategy.Partner across Marketing to inform campaign ideation and execution.Qualifications:

5+ years of competitive intelligence, product marketing, and/or solutions engineering in

B2B

SaaS or developer software.Demonstrated track record of building successful competitive intelligence programs and content.Exceptional written communication skills and ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise presentations and plans.Experience presenting to strategic and executive teams.Ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organization, especially the field.A bachelor of science in marketing or a degree in business preferredPreferred: experience with developer/devops products.Pay:Target pay range for a Level P4 in San Francisco/Bay Area: $165,000 - $194,000**Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs.
