The ideal candidate will be motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced setting while working independently and collaboratively.DutiesDraft, review, and edit legal documents, including Accounting Petitions, Probate Petitions, and Conservatorship Petitions.Oversee Trust Administration, Probate cases, and Conservatorship cases from inception to closure.Review Probate Notes and Tentative Rulings, addressing them via Supplements.Collaborate with senior attorneys to ensure effective case progression.Delegate tasks to paralegals, legal assistants, and law clerks, while monitoring their work.Lead initial consultations and client meetings.Cultivate relationships with current and prospective clients through timely communication.Appear at hearings as needed.Coordinate with the billing department to generate invoices.RequirementsMinimum of four (4) years of experience in any two of the following areas: Estate Planning, Special Needs Planning, Trust Administration, Conservatorships, or Probate.Valid license with the California State Bar.Ability to manage cases and clients independently after initial orientation.Commitment to providing exceptional client service.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.CertificationsLicensed attorney in good standing with the California State Bar.SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.High emotional intelligence and empathy towards clients.Ability to work effectively in an office setting (not remote).
