Fuel your career with GEODIS and discover endless growth opportunities.Your role on the team:Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in complianceMaintains knowledge of issues specific to the campus/regional labor market that could potentially impact business conditionsExecutes HR strategic plan at the campus/regional level, providing input to HR and campus leadership on progress and potential issuesDevelops and executes employee engagement and retention plansManages and resolves complex employee relations issues including employee investigationsPartners with operations leadership on new business start-up and peak season staffing plansEnsures adequate staffing to meet operational needsDevelops and leads supervisory and management training specific to HR-related topicsFacilitates employee engagement meetings and records results; develops strategies with operations partners to address critical and recurrent issuesOther duties as required and assigned
What you need: (requirements)Minimum 6 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and trainingPC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferredPC literate with a command of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
Bonus if you have: (Preferred requirements)Detail oriented with strong with strong organization and interpersonal skills required.Strong written and verbal communication skills required.Able to work independently and adjust to change.Strong multi-tasking skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
