Position Summary: The Program Administrator is responsible for the daily operational activity of the Office of the Dean and will have responsibility for a wide range of administrative, budgetary, and executive support tasksPosition Responsibilities: Operational Management:

Monitor monthly and annual operational expenses, and review budget reports for accuracy and precision including purchases and account transfersLiaise with various internal departments and may be required to have frequent external contactServe as the primary point of initial contact on any matter for the Dean's OfficePrepare purchase orders for the department using the purchasing system and work with procurement to establish contracts with vendors and suppliersProcess reimbursements for faculty and staffAssist with student recruitment and admissions activitiesReceive, screen, evaluate, and determine appropriate responses to all written correspondence received by the officeEnsure that the school leadership receives the administrative support required to meet their commitments and responsibilitiesMaintain calendars when needed, make travel arrangements, and update pending commitments and appointments for the Deans when requestedAssist Program Directors with administrative requirementsManage special projects/programs, some of which may have a University-wide impactMaintain office correspondence and reply to inquiries. Response must be made in a timely manner, and urgent matters must be brought to the attention of senior managementConfirm that the appropriate resources are available Coordinate and/or assist in establishing or recommending budget allocations for the office and review revised and final budgetsOversee the planning and coordination of key special eventsCoordinate and manage the transportation logistics for visiting facultyCompile and submit the list of facility work orders for submission and follow up with University Facilities departmentContinuously review and streamline college processes to ensure alignment with Yeshiva University SchoolsAct as liaison for the college to faculty, staff, University departments, and vendorsContinuously review and streamline college processes to ensure alignment with Yeshiva University SchoolsAssist with special projects as assigned by the Dean or Associate Dean

Experience & Education Background:

Bachelor's Degree required5-7 years of progressive office management / academic administration experience requiredMaster's Degree preferred

Skills & Competencies:

Advanced level of computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite and BannerExcellent written and verbal communication skills, so as to be an effective liaison for the college with internal and external populations - including online web/social mediaStrong interpersonal skills, and effective relationship developmentHighly self-motivated and extremely organizedStrong analytical skills, with the ability to find creative solutions, and implement resolutions toward desired resultsEffectively manages own time and resourcesProactive and team-oriented

Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000About Us:
