Assistant Controller
to lead their Accounting Department. Lead and own the month-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Financial Reporting:
Prepare and oversee month-end and year-end financial reports.Audit Management:
Lead the year-end audit, working closely with external auditors.Process Improvement:
Provide strategic insight on current financial processes and implement enhancements as needed.Team Leadership:
Oversee and mentor a team of five, including AP/AR specialists, Staff Accountants, and Senior Accountants.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is a strong plus.Proven experience in supervising and mentoring finance teams.Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (experience with system upgrades is a plus)
