Linxx Global Solutions, Inc. (Linxx) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role encompasses both human resources management and payroll administration, requiring a professional who can efficiently balance employee relations with accurate payroll processing. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating HR policies and employment laws while ensuring timely and compliant payroll practices.

Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.Manages new hire paperwork and Paylocity onboarding process.Enter child support enforcements, wage garnishment, and employee tax liens in a timely manner.Complete background checks.Report and manage workers compensation claims and OSHA reportingReport and manage short term disability claims and leave of absences to ensure FMLA compliance.Maintain employee files and benefit records.Coordinate and manage pre-employment processes.Strives to ensure employee understanding of benefit programs by regularly generating communication and assisting employees/dependents as situations arise. Resolves employee complaints related to health and welfare plans, refers difficult or very complex complaints to manager as needed.Acts as a resource for payroll contacts to ensure their understanding and compliance with benefit and HR policies and regulations with a focus on Department of Labor and State/Local rules and regulations related to employment practicesManages annual open enrollment period during 4th quarter of each year. Arranges for distribution of materials from carriers and assists with communicating changes to employees.Keeps management advised of potential problem areas and recommends/implements solutions as appropriate.Assists in the preparation of compliance related reports such as EEO or OFCPP required information.Assist in preparing for audits. Complete analysis and provide information as requested.Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.Manage payroll functions including but not limited to processing payments, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently, collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information.Compile reports and summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.Ensure the accuracy of all benefits billings and payroll distribution
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Gather and review employee timesheets for proper job codes and approvals; record employees' time into payroll system.Review and correct timesheet entries and clock punches for all contracts to ensure proper payroll processing.Ensure timely completion of payroll on a bi-weekly basis and review for accuracy.Verify and maintain correct information in Paylocity for payroll processing to include both the time tracking and payroll systems. Making changes and adjustments to Paylocity systems, as necessary.
Benefit Reconciliations:
Maintain spreadsheets and reconciliations of all payroll or benefit-related information to include reporting and processing payments to benefit vendors, 401(k) carriers, unions and 3rd party administrators.
Discrepancy research:
Research and advise management of any corrective actions for payroll or benefit issues.Ensure corrections are processed timely and the discrepancy results are communicated properly to the Project Managers or their designees.
Account Reconciliations :
Propose and record all payroll related journal entries.Reconcile all payroll-related accounts to include health & welfare benefit accounts to ensure payroll and benefit accuracy.
Other:
Perform other general accounting or analytical functions, as necessary.
Required QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree preferred.Professional certification in HR (such as SHRM-CP or PHR) is advantageous.Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive.Knowledge of HR systems and databases.In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.Knowledge of payroll systems, with a keen understanding of payroll and tax laws.
