JOB SUMMARY
The Otolaryngologist provides direct clinical treatment services to patients on an outpatient basis, performs surgical procedures necessary for treatment, ensuring that patients receive the treatment necessary to treat their emergency medical complaint.
JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking an Otolaryngologist to join Cape ENT Group. Cape ENT Group is an established ear, nose, and throat practice that serves adult and pediatric patients in the southeast Missouri and southern Illinois regions, as well as patients in western Kentucky.
Responsibilities:Works constructively and collaboratively with other health professionals.Focuses on attaining high standards of healthcare in Otolaryngology.Duties may include patient care, instructing, monitoring, afterhours and weekend call and advising other health care professionals, as appropriate.Opportunity Highlights:
Full spectrum ENT practice with 4 experienced surgeons and 1 advanced practice provider, 2 Audiologists, and 2 Allergists.1:4 call, light trauma call with average of 3-6 inpatients consults per week.Clinic Hours: M- F 8:00AM-4:30PMAverage 28 clinic patients per day and 10-12 surgical procedures per week.Current medical and surgical procedures include tonsillectomy, hearing difficulties, ear surgery, sinus surgery, voice and swallowing problems, sleep apnea, allergy testing, allergy immunotherapy, endocrine diseases, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, thyroid cancer, and other head and neck cancersAward-winning hospital-named in the "Top 100 Hospitals in the Nation" by IBM Watson Health + ranked as an A-rated hospital by the Leapfrog GroupBenefits:

Medical license in the State of MissouriBasic Life Support (BLS) required.Must also maintain a Controlled Substance license for the State of Missouri and Federal DEA.Must have successfully completed, an accredited residency program.Must maintain active medical privileges and medical memberships.Must be Board Certified within 2 years of hire date.Experience:
