Description

The Department of Pediatrics is seeking applicants for a BC/BE PEDIATRIC ENDOCRINOLOGIST to join our current team. The Division of Endocrinology is hiring candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position(s) in the non-tenure track. This is primarily a clinical position for outpatient and inpatient consultant services, along with participation in the clinical education of medical students and residents.

The Division currently includes four Pediatric Endocrinologists, three Nurse Practitioners, an RD, and administrative staff, providing more than 3,000 patient visits annually. Duties may include any combination of the following: patient care, teaching, independent or sponsored research, administrative duties, community outreach, and University-related public service. The exact distribution of responsibilities will vary depending on University, Department, and Division needs. In general, successful applications will be expected to be productive members of the University community, measured by patient care, active research, teaching, and administrative service.

Academic rank and competitive salary will be commensurate with qualifications.

Qualifications

Required

Medical Degree

BC/BE in Pediatric Endocrinology

Immediately eligible for licensure in New York

Interest in working in an evolving, fully integrated program

Preferred

BC/BE in Pediatric Endocrinology
