So, even if you feel that youre close but not an exact match, we encourage you to apply.Overview :We are seeking an industrious Leader with a successful background in Treaty Reinsurance to lead efforts within the branch related to structuring, placement, and product development in Manhattan. This is a client-facing role in a setting that involves multi-stakeholder collaboration to drive new business production and product development, while ensuring the retention of existing client accounts while driving the performance of the local team.How you'll make an impact :Operate as the Primary support and Lead for assigned accountsBe an inspiring leader: conduct research on industry topics and develop content to be shared with Clients and Prospects, published in journals and/or presented at conferences and tradeshowsAct as the North American Representative for Global ClientsCoordinate information-sharing and promote consistency across client roadmaps and strategyAct as Production lead for Large Complex accountsBe a supporting team member for prospect opportunitiesCollaborate across all specialties within broking, and involve our actuarial, catastrophe and financial modeling partners to analyze insurance risks on a portfolio levelCounsel C-Suite clients on reinsurance treaty structures to mitigate downside risk and improve capital efficiencyDevelop, negotiate, and place reinsurance treaties using markets from the US, London, Bermuda and around the worldCoordinate and attend underwriting and claims audits of insurance clients.Ensure company, market and client-related documents are issued accurately and on timeCoordinate internal resources, such as analytics, contracts, and client services to provide solutions to client(s)Develop and enhance relationships with senior executives of client companies to present materialsAlign with external and internal regulatory and statutory policies, procedures, and regulationsCommit to the development of early and mid-career talentAbout you :

Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University10 or more years of work experience within a Re/Insurance Brokerage or Underwriting environmentAdept at giving presentations to C-Suite ExecutivesDesired Skills:Strengths in practical problem-solving and possess the desire to innovate in a multi-disciplined, collaborative cultureProficiency with MS Excel, Power BI, or other analytics toolsProven command of mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inferenceARe designation preferred
