The Quality Inspectors will be responsible for inspecting for compliance of product and escalating with any issues found which includes classifying defects. Other responsibilities include dispositioning material, 100% in station inspections and line side sorts. Developing relationships with other cross-functional departments to drive disposition of parts and evaluating the concern versus the return.Potential Shift Opportunities (please note that these shifts are not promised and will vary and align based on organizational needs)Shift: 6:00AM - 6:00PM

Responsibilities

Systematically marking parts that could be special interest for expedited return to Engineers and Quality TechniciansMaintain data integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of defect material throughput and systematically logging informationProvide data input and output reports to assist in driving improvements100% Inspections and support corrective actions based on defect reasonDisposition defect material and sort material if neededMaintain 5S in stationRequirements

Ability to maintain a safe working environmentAbility to familiarize with the MRB & FX database systemsTechnical background and troubleshooting knowledge and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Work, and ExcelStrong communication skills and ability to build strong partnerships across various organizations within Tesla and must have command of the English language, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and keep on task in a fast-paced environment without direct supervisionMust be detail orientated, reliable, have good initiative, determination, and quality focusedEssential Physical Demands:
