Inpatient orthopedic unit - 3 12's per week. Either days or nights
What you will be doing:
**Patient Assessment:** Evaluate patients with musculoskeletal issues, including injuries, fractures, and post-surgical conditions.**Care Coordination:** Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.**Pain Management:** Administer pain medications and provide comfort measures for patients recovering from orthopedic procedures.**Patient Education:** Educate patients and families about rehabilitation, mobility aids, and post-operative care instructions.**Wound Care:** Monitor and care for surgical wounds, ensuring proper healing and identifying any signs of infection.**Rehabilitation Support:** Assist in coordinating and guiding rehabilitation efforts, including physical therapy exercises and mobility assistance.Skills you need:
RN licenseInpatient experience highly preferred, but not required
